This borax alternative is an effective, all-purpose cleaning solution for a range of surfaces and items in your home. 

 

This eco-friendly Borax substiture, Sodium Sesquicarbonate, is a mineral compound of soda crystals and sodium bicarbonate with a pH similar to Borax, making it ideal for cleaning and laundry. It combines the abrasive powers of Bicarbonate of soda and soda crystals to degrease instantly. Sodium Sesquicarbonate works as a multipurpose cleaner, stain remover, water softener, and limescale remover. It is also practical for cleaning many surfaces around the home such as floors, baths, sinks, and bins, as well as boosting laundry detergent.

Directions

Mix two tablespoons of Borax Substitute with one litre of hot water. Apply the solution to surfaces through spraying or wiping. Alternatively, sprinkle the product onto surfaces and then wipe with a damp cloth. Aluminium surfaces should not be treated with this product.
