Plastic Sucks
Your average kitchen sponge is entirely made of plastic. Plastic which is usually not recyclable, meaning they will end up in landfill or the sea after we are done with them, where they take hundreds of years to break down and cause environmental mayhem.
Not only that, but the sponges claiming antibacterial and odour-removing benefits are typically full of toxic chemicals - bad for us, and the environment.
Enter The EcoCoconut Kitchen Brushes
This durable cleaning brush is especially designed with a good handle grip for getting into hard to reach places.
Made ethically in Sri Lanka from sustainably farmed coconut fibre (or coir as it is more commonly known) wrapped around a stainless steel wire and FSC accredited timber. Coir is a natural fibre extracted from between the hard internal shell of the coconut and the outer coat of the coconut.
As well as being totally natural, the bristles on this brush are also naturally antibacterial, free from toxic chemicals, recyclable and biodegradable.
This dish brush measures approximately 25cm.
