The Truth about Toothpaste:

Toothpaste typically comes in plastic tubes, and although some plastics can be recycled, this type of plastic is usually difficult to recycle, meaning most tubes once finished with end up in landfill or as plastic litter in the sea. Sigh.

Toothpaste also usually contains bleaching agents, SLS, foaming agents and even palm oil. And most high street brands are not vegan or cruelty free. So they aren’t good for you, the animals or the planet.

As there are no foaming agents, cleaning your teeth will feel different at first, but you will get used to it, and your mouth will still feel clean and fresh afterwards.

Each jar is handmade here in the UK, and is free from fluoride SLS and glycerine. No synthetic ingredients are used, only natural ingredients which are person and planet friendly, such as natural mineral powders like calcium carbonate and kaolin. The addition of peppermint and charcoal to this paste creates a natural, minty and mildly abrasive paste.

Directions for Use:

Using a small spatula style utensil, or your dry toothbrush, scoop out about a pea sized amount, brush for 2 minutes then rinse well.

Packaging:

Georganics toothpaste comes in a recyclable and reusable glass jar, with an aluminium lid and compostable box. Once your toothpaste is finished, you could also use the jar to store just about anything really, from spices, to small amounts of other products when travelling.
