Unrefined Shea Butter

Ditch Plastic, Go Naked:
Most moisturisers come in plastic containers. Plastic which is most likely going to find itself in landfill or as plastic litter in the sea once finished with. Sigh.
Not only that, but mositurisers generally contain lots of things which are bad for the planet, but also us! For example, way too often unnecessary additives and colourants are added to Shea butter and the refining process (RBD) applied, which includes bleaching and deodorisation: all of which can seriously reduce the nutrient and moisturising benefits of Shea. Plus, its totally unnecessary.
Unrefined Shea Butter:
Not this Shea butter though! It is 100% organic, natural, raw and unrefined, as it should be, and is sourced sourced from fairly traded communities in Ghana.
Shea butter is great for you face, hair and body, and is suitable, and benefits, even the most dry and sensitive skin.
It comes in a solid block, and can be used straight from the packet as it is as a moisturising bar, or you can add your own essential oils to this neutral base to create something all your own. I keep mine in chunks in an old glass jar.
To add essential oils, gently melt the butter in a glass jar by surrounding it with warm water, then mix in the desired oils.
