Fluxies Period Underwear - Super Absorbency - Sleep Short
About this product
Sleep Short - Super Absorbancy
These Sleep Shorts have a super absorbancy, meaning you’re safe to toss and turn in your sleep with no qualms! They have a built in extra layer to provide extra coverage front to back, as well as extra length in the leg and an extended gusset, so these bad boys can hold up to 5 tampons worth for up to 14 hours. You can sleep soundly knowing you’ll be protected all night (and day if needs be).
These have a snug fit so Fluxies recommend sizing up!
Rinse underwear (not essential if you’re in a rush!) Machine wash at max 40°C with a mild detergent, no fabric conditioner as the waxy coating affects absorbency, hang to dry. Do not tumble dry.

Gusset Lining: 95% Organic Cotton, 5% Elastane
Gusset: 100% Microfibre, Biodegradable TPU
Comes in a cardboard sleeve - 1 pair of underwear per box.
Why we love Fluxies
Fluxies (previously Flux underwear) was founded back in 2017 by the lovely Paige Fashoni. It was the first brand of period underwear to be launched in the U.K (Brighton specifically) at the time. Committed to reducing their impact on the environment, they fully offset their carbon emissions, are certified cruelty free and use sustainable materials in the production of their products.
So far they have diverted 40 million disposables from landfill, prevented over 3000 tonnes of co2 emissions and saved 1,088,621 kg of plastic from landfill too! Not to mention they personally visit all of their manufacturers to ensure that they meet their ethics by treating the makers fairly, providing them with a living wage and producing products which are built to last. If you thought it couldn’t get any better, they regularly give back to their local community by donating period care and/or profits to a number of charities including Mermaids, Freedom 4 Girls, WWF and more. Three cheers for Fluxies!
About their products
Fluxies period underwear are reusable, washable and leak-free! Which means they completely replace pads and tampons, reducing your carbon footprint and saving you a lot of money in the long run, which I think we all agree is a big plus. Great care is taken in ensuring only top quality and environmentally conscious materials are used in their products, such as GOTS certified Organic Cotton, TENCEL™ Modal fibres (made from fast growing, water saving beech trees), and pre-consumer waste recycled Nylon! That’s some pretty impressive underwear.
