The tube itself is made from wood giving it a slight grain on the surface. The processed spruce comes from a certified forest in the EU and the wood used comes from sawdust created by German carpenters. Over 95% of the materials used are from renewable resources and its carbon footprint is 40% better than a conventional PE tube.
The packaging is a composite material made from renewable sources of plastic and wood and is 100% recyclable as plastic (HDPE 2) or as wood (81 paper and cardboard/plastic).
